The band is back from New York, where we heard (and created!) some incredible performances at JALC. We didn’t make the top three this time, but many of our musicians came away with individual and section honors as outstanding players:

Roosevelt Jazz has once again been selected as one of 15 national finalists to compete in Jazz At Lincoln Center’s Essentially Ellington competition and festival, May 8-10 2014 in New York. Congratulations to our hardworking students and director!
Roosevelt Takes 3rd at Essentially Ellington, Plus Section and Individual Honors
